Regulation of the Michelin Man ARTOYZ contest
Prize: one (1) Michelin Man ARTOYZ figurine valued at €19 (including VAT), selected by the Michelin team.
Article 1 - Organizing company
Manufacture Française des Pneumatiques Michelin (MFPM), a société par actions simplifiée (simplified joint-stock company) with capital of 504,000,004 euros, registered with the CLERMONT-FERRAND Trade and Companies Register under number 855 200 507 R.C.S. CLERMONT-FERRAND, whose registered office is located at 23, Place des Carmes Dechaux 63040 Clermont-Ferrand, France (hereinafter the "Organizing Company"), is organizing from 10/31/2025 [6:00 p.m. CET] to 11/10/2025 [11:59 p.m. CET] a free contest game without purchase obligation.
This contest is neither sponsored nor administered by X (formerly Twitter).
Article 2 – Acceptance of These Rules
Participation in the Contest implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules and all applicable laws and regulations governing free contests.
Article 3 – Contest Announcement
The contest is announced on X (formerly Twitter) via a post published on the MICHELIN Global account: https://x.com/Michelin .
Article 4 – Eligibility
The contest is open to any individual who is of legal age in their country of residence and has internet access and an X (formerly Twitter) account.
The following individuals are not eligible to participate:
Members of the Organizer’s management or staff who were directly or indirectly involved in the contest.
Individuals or entities involved in the design, organization, or administration of the contest.
Immediate family members of the above (defined as individuals living in the same household, as well as direct or indirect ascendants, descendants, and collateral relatives).
The Organizer reserves the right to verify compliance with this article and the entire set of rules, particularly to exclude underage participants or those suspected of fraud. Verification may be limited to potential winners and is not required for all entries.
Participants may not enter using another person’s account or identity. Proven fraud or attempts to cheat, including creating fake identities to enter multiple times, may result in permanent disqualification.
Incomplete, illegible, or inaccurate entries will be deemed invalid.
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose comments incite:
Discrimination, hatred, or violence (including racist, xenophobic, sexist, homophobic, or revisionist content).
Defamation or disparagement.
Tobacco use, excessive alcohol consumption, or use of prohibited substances.
Criminal acts, suicide, or illegal drug use/sales.
Off-topic political or religious content.
Pornographic, pedophilic, or violent content.
Spam.
Article 5 – Access to the Contest
The contest is accessible from October 31, 2025, at 6:00 PM CET until November 10, 2025, at 11:59 PM CET inclusive via the Michelin X account: https://x.com/Michelin.
Access is available through a standard web browser, except during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance or updates to databases or hosting servers.
The Organizing Company reserves the right to shorten, extend, postpone, modify or cancel the game in the event of force majeure or events beyond its control. In any event, the Organizing Company shall not be held liable, and no compensation shall be claimed in this respect.
Article 6 – How to participate
To participate in the Contest, each entrant must either retweet the post announcing the Contest or comment using the hashtag MichelinComposites.
A random electronic drawing will be conducted to determine the winner on November 17, 2025 (CET).
The winner will be contacted via private message on the X platform (formerly Twitter). Failure to respond within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of contact shall result in forfeiture of the prize.
Each participant’s X (formerly Twitter) account must be set to public in order to allow for the necessary verification procedures.
Article 7 - Designation of winners
A random drawing shall be conducted to designate the winner from among all eligible participants who have either retweeted or commented using the hashtag #MichelinComposites under the Contest post published on Michelin’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Article 8 – Prize
Prize: one (1) Michelin Man ARTOYZ figurine valued at €19 (including VAT), selected by the Michelin team.
The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any winner prior to awarding the prize.
The prize awarded may not be contested in any way whatsoever, nor may it be exchanged for cash or replaced for any reason whatsoever. However, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value and similar characteristics if circumstances require, without incurring any liability as a result.
Article 9 – Prize Award
The winner shall be notified via a private message sent from Michelin’s official account https://x.com/Michelin on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
Instructions regarding how to claim the prize will be provided in said message. If the winner fails to respond within forty-eight (48) hours, or if the contact information provided is incorrect, incomplete, illegible, falsified, or otherwise non-compliant with these Official Rules, the prize shall not be awarded to an alternate winner.
Likewise, if the winner declines the prize, it shall not be reallocated to another participant.
Article 10 – Liability, Force Majeure, and Right to Extend or Modify
Michelin shall not be held liable in the event that the Contest is modified, extended, shortened, or canceled due to force majeure or circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to unforeseen acts of fraud or abuse.
The Organizer reserves the right to terminate the Contest without declaring a winner and may reallocate the prize in a future promotion.
Michelin further reserves the right to extend, modify, shorten, or cancel the Contest and to reschedule any announced dates.
The Organizer shall not be held responsible if a winner cannot be contacted via email due to circumstances beyond its control (including technical issues with the internet service provider, mobile operator, or incorrect email address).
In such cases, winners shall not be entitled to any compensation or substitute prize.
Michelin shall not be liable for any malfunction of the “Internet” network or the X platform that prevents access to or proper execution of the Contest. This includes, but is not limited to, external malicious acts.
While Michelin endeavors to provide users with verified information and tools, it shall not be held responsible for errors (including display errors on Contest websites or incorrect emails), lack of availability of information, or the presence of viruses on the site.
Participation in the Contest implies acknowledgment and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet, including the lack of protection for certain data against potential misuse or hacking, and the risk of contamination by viruses circulating on the network.
Each participant is responsible for taking appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer or mobile device.
Connection to the site and participation in the Contest are undertaken at the participant’s sole risk.
Michelin shall not be held liable for:
Telephone connection issues.
Hardware or software problems.
Destruction of participant-provided information for reasons not attributable to Michelin.
Human or electrical errors.
Disruptions affecting the proper conduct of the Contest or the automated drawing process.
Michelin shall not be responsible for a winner’s inability to travel by air or enter a foreign country due to irregular travel documents (e.g., missing visa, expired passport).
In any case where the administrative or technical execution of the Contest is disrupted by causes beyond Michelin’s control, the Organizer reserves the right to suspend the Contest.
Any fraud or violation of these Official Rules may result in the disqualification of the participant, and Michelin reserves the right to pursue legal action against the offender.
Article 11 – Personal Data Protection
The personal data that participants may be required to provide to Michelin for the purpose of prize delivery is limited to their full name, date of birth, email address, and mailing address.
This data is intended solely for use by Michelin personnel and not by X (formerly Twitter). It will be retained only for the duration necessary to administer the Contest and, in any case, for no longer than six (6) months following the conclusion of the Contest, after which it will be permanently deleted.
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of May 25, 2018, participants have the right to access, rectify, object to, and delete their personal data.

The information provided will be used exclusively by the Organizer for the administration of the Contest and shall not be shared with Instagram or any other third-party platform.
The collection of personal data is a mandatory condition for participation in the Contest. Therefore, any request to delete personal data prior to the conclusion of the Contest shall be deemed a withdrawal from participation, and the corresponding prize shall not be delivered.
Article 12 – Intellectual and Artistic Property Rights
In accordance with the laws governing literary, artistic, and industrial property rights in France, the reproduction, representation, or exploitation of any part of the elements comprising the Contest is strictly prohibited.
All trademarks mentioned in connection with the Contest are registered trademarks owned by their respective proprietors.
Article 13 – Reimbursement
Reimbursement of postage costs related to requests for a copy of these Official Rules (standard postal rate) may be obtained upon written request sent to the Organizer’s address, accompanied by a bank account identification document (RIB, RIP, or RICE).
Reimbursement of internet connection costs incurred to participate in the Contest—limited to a maximum of six (6) minutes and excluding mobile participation—may be obtained upon written request to the Organizer’s address. The request must clearly include the following information: full name, complete mailing address, date and time of participation. It must also be accompanied by a bank account identification document (RIB, RIP, or RICE) and a copy of the internet service provider’s invoice showing:
The exact nature of the internet service and billing method (e.g., unlimited, flat-rate),
The date and time of connection corresponding to the Contest participation, clearly highlighted by the participant.
Given current service offerings and technology, some internet providers offer free or flat-rate access. Therefore, any access to the Contest site via such services (e.g., cable, ADSL, dedicated line) shall not be eligible for reimbursement, as the participant incurs no additional cost to participate.
Photocopying costs for any required supporting documents will be reimbursed at a rate of €0.15 (incl. VAT) per page.
Reimbursement shall be made by check, bank transfer, or any other method chosen by the Organizer.
Article 14 – Copy of These Rules
A copy of these Official Rules may be obtained upon written request sent to the Organizer’s address specified in Article 1, for the duration of the Contest.
The complete rules may also be viewed, downloaded, and printed free of charge by clicking the link provided in the Contest tweet for the entire duration of the Contest.
Article 15 – Governing Law
The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by French law.
In the event of any discrepancy between the French version and translations in other languages, the French version shall prevail.
Any dispute regarding the interpretation of these Official Rules or any matter not expressly provided for shall be resolved by a jury appointed by the Organizer. Requests for interpretation must be submitted in writing. No inquiries received more than fifteen (15) days after the end of the Contest shall be answered.
Any dispute or difficulty in interpretation shall be resolved as a last resort by the courts of Clermont-Ferrand (France), under French law.
