The MICHELIN Guide revealed the 2026 restaurant selection for Vancouver. Notably, AnnaLena was promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars in this year's edition, making it the first Two Starred restaurant in the city.
Additionally, this year's restaurant selection welcomed two new Bib Gourmands, one being the promotion of Chef's Choice Seafood Restaurant and the other being Kavita. Four restaurants have joined the selection for the first time as Recommended. The full selection including retaining Starred restaurants, totals 72 restaurants with 23 cuisine types represented throughout.
Two MICHELIN Stars
AnnaLena (Contemporary cuisine)
You won't find white tablecloths or a formal atmosphere at AnnaLena, but you will find one of Vancouver's most polished and delicious dining experiences. Effortless service, expertly prepared cocktails and astute wine pairings are all part of the magic, but of course it's the seasonally inspired tasting menu that really steals the show. This globally accented cuisine marries precise technique and top-flight ingredients. Peak-season Sungold tomatoes with house-made XO sauce and caramelized buttermilk infused with Thai green curry; and fresh pasta with charcoal-roasted asparagus and sauce vin blanc poured tableside are merely two examples of Chef Michael Robbins’ focused creations displaying exceptional clarity and depth of flavor.
Bib Gourmand
The MICHELIN Guide Inspectors identified two restaurants to receive a Bib Gourmand distinction, which recognizes eateries for great food at a great value. The full list can be found below.

Mindful Voices
New for 2026, the Mindful Voices platform brings together inspirational voices from across the hospitality industry – an editorial space where chefs, hoteliers, and winemakers can share their stories and pioneering practices, both with one another and the rest of the world.
“Mindful Voices will give a platform to all those who are rewriting the rules in their respective fields,” said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guide. “This new framework draws directly from what our Inspection teams witness firsthand: encounters and experiences that are transforming how things are done and that deserve to be shared. Staying true to its identity and values, the MICHELIN Guide will amplify and give full resonance to these voices from the worlds of gastronomy, hospitality and wine so that they can be heard, wherever they may be.”
