The MICHELIN Guide introduces Mindful Voices to amplify the commitment of inspirational chefs, hoteliers and wine producers.

  • Drawing on its deep expertise in hospitality and wine, the MICHELIN Guide is reaching beyond gastronomy to offer through Mindful Voices, a platform to all those who inspire it across the universes of gastronomy, hospitality and vineyards.

  • This editorial series will be rolled out gradually and on a global scale. In parallel, the Green Star, which was limited to gastronomy, will come to an end.

  • The first step in the introduction of Mindful Voices will take place on June 1st 2026 at the Nordic Countries Ceremony.

The MICHELIN Guide is launching Mindful Voices, a trailblazing editorial venture intended to shine a light on individuals who, through their commitment and endeavors, are proposing new methods within gastronomy, hospitality and wine.

Mindful Voices: the MICHELIN Guide is reaching beyond gastronomy

In step with the Guide’s recent move into the world of hospitality and wine, as well as its rapid international expansion across more than 60 destinations, the MICHELIN Guide has created an ambitious and universal editorial concept. Designed to better capture the unique character of these three expressions of the art of living and to move beyond local borders, Mindful Voices will highlight and share the stories and pioneering practices of chefs, hoteliers and wine producers. In the meantime, the MICHELIN Green Star initiative, limited to gastronomy, will be gradually phased out.

  • Mindful Voices will give a platform to all those who are rewriting the rules in their respective fields. This new framework draws directly from what our inspection teams witness firsthand: encounters and experiences that are transforming how things are done and that deserve to be shared. Staying true to its identity and values, the MICHELIN Guide will amplify and give full resonance to these voices from the worlds of gastronomy, hospitality and wine, so that they can be heard, wherever they may be.

Mindful Voices: a global editorial platform

It will be introduced:

  • Across all Michelin Guide platforms, digital (web, app, social media) and in print, through profiles of women and men from the worlds of gastronomy, hospitality and wine.

  • In the MICHELIN Guide magazine, with in-depth features focused on them

  • At key events involving these personalities.

The “Mindful Voices” editorial tab, acting as a shortcut, can be accessed via the home page of the MICHELIN Guide website and app and allows everyone to explore inspiring initiatives and undertakings.

Begins on June 1st 2026.

Mindful Voices will be unveiled at the MICHELIN Guide Nordic Countries Ceremony on June 1, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The roll out will continue on a European level and then worldwide throughout 2026.

Mindful Voices begins with gastronomy – the heart of the MICHELIN Guide’s expertise – before extending into hospitality and then wine.
