In a sector marked by increasingly intensive road use and demanding field performance, Michelin unveils its new agricultural trailer tire: Michelin WORKXBIB.
This new versatile tire for trailers and agricultural equipment is intended mainly for tipping trailers, slurry tankers, manure spreaders, and other farm equipment. It was developed for contractors and farmers, with a wide range of applications from public works and civil engineering through to haulage and livestock farming.
Michelin WORKXBIB supports loads of up to 6,500 kg at speeds of 65 km/h*. It thus positions itself as counterpart to Michelin TRAILXBIB tire within Michelin’s trailer and agricultural equipment tire range.
For manufacturers, the Michelin WORKXBIB has been engineered to better meet the demands of trailer platforms. Developed through Michelin’s innovation, it combines endurance, high load capacity and reliability for intensive road use, along with a size range tailored to current vehicles.
A unique design for a tougher, more durable tire
Michelin WORKXBIB delivers a larger footprint and offers endurance and stability on the road, even under heavy loads and at high speed thanks to a flat crown and massive reinforced and serrated shoulders.
With a steel-belted crown, robust carcass and bead area, and high-performance rubber compound, this new tire offers enhanced puncture resistance. The serrated shoulders improve stability on sloping ground and the massive tread blocks enable self-cleaning to reduce maintenance needs.
Thanks to this unique and innovative design, Michelin WORKXBIB tires deliver up to 80% longer tire life** than the previous generation of MICHELIN trailer tires.
For contractors and farm owners, this means fewer stops for tire replacement and maintenance, greater equipment availability and better controlled operating costs. These qualities make this tire a reliable long-term solution.
Michelin WORKXBIB is now available as original equipment on Maupu, Deves and Sodimac trailers, and will soon be offered by many other manufacturers. For the replacement market, the tire is being rolled out progressively, with an initial size available from October 2026, followed by three additional sizes in the second quarter of 2027:
October 2026: 600/55 R26.5
Second quarter 2027:
650/55 R26.5
600/60 R30.5
560/60 R22.5

Tests conducted in France, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy. Results obtained under specific test conditions. Actual tire performance may vary according to operating conditions and usage.
