MICHELIN Guide, the global authority on gastronomy and hospitality, announces an integration with Apple Maps. Users are now able to use Apple Maps to view and search for places in the U.S. with a MICHELIN distinction, including MICHELIN-Starred restaurants celebrated for culinary excellence, Green Star restaurants recognized for sustainable practices, Bib Gourmand selections offering exceptional food at an affordable price point, and outstanding MICHELIN Key hotels. Support for additional regions will roll out in the future.
With this update, place cards in Apple Maps will now reflect MICHELIN distinctions, descriptions, and images. Additionally, for select hotels, users can now book directly from Apple Maps via an app clip from MICHELIN, with the option to schedule restaurant reservations coming soon.
