Around the world, 700 youths die in car accidents every day. Committed to making mobility safer, the Michelin Foundation and Total Foundation have launched VIA (Global Road Safety Education via a new Generation), a global road safety awareness programme. VIA is based on a participatory approach aimed at improving safety for young people in built-up areas and on the road.
A free online game, specially designed for 8-10 year olds, has just been released. The programme is flexible and can be tailored to the needs of educators and young people everywhere. VIA is easy for schools to use and is already present on three continents.
