Claire Dorland Clauzel

Executive Vice President Sustainable Development, Brands, External Relations and MICHELIN guide, Member of the Group Executive Committee

Claire Dorland Clauzel holds a Master’s degree in History from Université de Paris Sorbonne, a Doctorate from the Institut de Géographie and a degree from Ecole Nationale d’Administration (Class of 1988, “Montaigne”).

In 1988, Claire Dorland Clauzel joined the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, in the Treasury Department.

She was Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Groupe Usinor from 1993 to 1995.

In 1995, she became Chief of Staff for the Director of the Treasury Department, and then joined the Cabinet of the Minister of the Economy and Finance.

She joined the AXA Group in 1998 to head the Audit and Control Department of AXA France, also serving as a member of the AXA France Executive Committee. She then was named Head of Support Functions for AXA France.

In 2003, she was appointed Executive Vice President, Communications, Brand and Sustainable Development for the AXA Group.

In January 2008, she joined the Michelin Group, where she was appointed Executive Vice President Communication and Brands, member of the Group Executive Council.

Since June 1, 2012, she has also managed the Public Affairs Department, Michelin Travel Partner (maps, guides and mobility digital services) and Michelin Lifestyle Ltd.

Since March 13, 2017, Claire Dorland Clauzel is also in charge of sustainable development.

She is a member of the Michelin Group Executive Committee.
