We encourage a partnership-based approach to optimize these projects’ benefits for all of society. Our approach involves governments, businesses, and communities alike.


To help implement more effective programs on the ground and share best practices, Michelin has developed global partnerships with several organizations: the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC), the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP), the FIA High Level Panel for Road Safety, and Youth for Road Safety (YOURS).

All 50 states adopted legislation to teach the basics of tire-related safety in driving schools.

“In the Name of Love” in China

The play “In the Name of Love” combines road safety and theater to remind audiences of the many pointless risks people take while traveling. Live performances have been seen by 190,000 people.


In 2017, the Michelin Foundation also made its debut as an active partner of road safety initiatives in France, South Africa and Brazil.
