The best reputation on the CAC40
Michelin enjoys the best reputation of any CAC40 company, according to the latest study by the Reputation Institute. Michelin is also the only brand to have remained in the top three during the past six editions of this survey of French mass market consumers, confirming its solid reputation.
Since 2017, Michelin has appeared on the FTSE4Good international stock market index, which measures socially responsible companies' performance based on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Michelin joined the ASPI Eurozone® stock market index in 2002, based on annual assessments by non-financial ratings agency Vigeo.
Michelin is listed on the four Euronext VigeoEiris SRI indices: World 120, Europe 120, Eurozone 120 and France 20.
With a score of 68/100 in 2018, Michelin is now leader of the Automotive sector (31 companies rated) in terms of "socially responsible management" (considering “ESG” criterias : Environmental, Social, Governance), according to VIGEO EIRIS Corporate Rating. The Group score is up 3 points on the 2017 rating.
Climate change and water management
Michelin ranks among the top companies worldwide in terms of transparency and climate change prevention and water management efforts according to the latest CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) study, completed in 2017.
With a score of 77/100 that has increased every year, Michelin has earned "Gold" status and is ranked in the top 1 percent of "rubber products" suppliers by Ecovadis.
Michelin was once again listed on the Ethibel PIONEER and Ethibel EXCELLENCE Investment Register indices in 2018. This recognition from the ETHIBEL forum (www.forumethibel.org) showcases the Group's place as the industry leader on Corporate Social Responsibility.
