Dividends

Until 2020, Michelin committed to paying an annual dividend equivalent to at least 35% of consolidated net income before non-recurring items for the year. From 2021, the payout rate is raised to 50%.

Ownership structure

Michelin has more than 210,000 shareholders, including more than 200,000 private investors and employees. Seven worldwide employee share issues have been carried out since 2002. Shares held in the same name for at least four years carry double voting rights.
