Drive connected thanks to MICHELIN technology and Ford

For Michelin, offering a better way forward also means being on hand for both drivers and their passengers during the trip. In what way? Michelin optimizes the journey time with live traffic information and provides recommendations for places to visit based on the MICHELIN Guides and the Green Guides.
MICHELIN - Ford Focus Electric 2015

The new Ford Focus Electric 2015 is connected thanks to Michelin

Connected to the road: all Ford Focus Electric cars will be equipped with MICHELIN Energy Saver tires.

Connected to the digital world: drivers of the Ford SYNC2 will have access to a huge range of tourist, accommodation and restaurant information from the Michelin Green Guide and the MICHELIN Guide. These guides are integrated into the on-board navigation system, which allows drivers to plan their journeys including their accommodations, meal stops and even the sights to see.

The MICHELIN navigation system, maps and guides are there to assist users on the move

Since 2005, Michelin has equipped major players in the automobile industry with its navigation system: Peugeot, Citroën, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Ford, Pioneer, etc.

The Group is one of the pioneers of the connected car: for ten years, drivers of BMWs equipped with the connected drive system have been accessing MICHELIN guide content right from their car.

A dynamic route guidance service

Thanks to its expertise in journey planning, Michelin also brings its dynamic route guidance service together with its traffic information tool to the Peugeot Connect Apps and Citroën Multicity solutions.

Michelin also proposes a variety of guided tours through its navigation system to Infiniti and Mercedes customers as well as travel content tailored to motorhome owners via its partner, Pioneer.
