MICHELIN RESTAURANTS APPLICATION: ALL RESTAURANTS IN FRANCE NOW AVAILABLE ON MOBILE DEVICES

Michelin has launched a free MICHELIN Restaurants application in French for iPhone and Android. A mobile version of the MICHELIN Restaurants website, restaurant.michelin.fr, the new app is a multi-criteria search engine that offers a very broad choice of Michelin restaurants in France, enhanced with user comments.

The MICHELIN Restaurants application includes a “Tested and recommended by the MICHELIN guide” pictogram that enables users to identify restaurants featured in the MICHELIN guide France 2012.

A simple, easy-to-use homepage
From the app’s home page, users can:

• Search for a restaurant in the vicinity or by address and select a price range or type of cuisine, or limit their search to restaurants selected in the MICHELIN guide 2012.
• Use a History function to view one of the last five restaurants consulted.
• Access their account.

Detailed datasheets

Each restaurant has a datasheet that enables mobile device users to see the restaurant’s location on a map, contact the establishment directly, view user comments, add a photo, add the restaurant to their list of contacts, enter their own comment, or make a list of favorite restaurants.

My MICHELIN Restaurants account

Creating a MICHELIN account enables users to add their favorite restaurants, enter an opinion on restaurants they know, share photos, store addresses and become a member of the MICHELIN Restaurants community.
