RACE OF CHAMPIONS - (Beijing, China) - Michelin at the Bird's Nest Stadium

Michelin was a partner of the 2009 Race of Champions which took place at the famous Bird's Nest Stadium, host of last year's Olympic Games in Beijing. The entry list featured the world's leading drivers who competed head-to-head in a variety of vehicles, all equipped with Michelin tyres. The ROC Nations Cup and the Race of Champions were respectively won by Germany (Vettel/Schumacher) and Sweden's Mattias Ekström.

ASIAN LE MANS SERIES - Okayama (Japan) - Eastern delight for the N°17 Pescarolo/Michelin

Michelin's partner teams Aston Martin Racing and Sora Racing (Pescarolo) won a race each at the opening round of the 2009 Asian Le Mans Series at Okayama, Japan. Ibanez Racing and Drayson Racing/Michelin took the spoils in the Michelin Green X Challenge.

WORLD SERIES BY RENAULT - Motorland Aragon (Spain) - Round 7 - The 2009 Champions are Baguette, Costa and Verschuur

Belgium's Bertrand Baguette was already sure of winning this year's FR 3.5 title, but he celebrated his success in style this weekend by winning both races. Mike Verschuur clinched the Mégane Trophy crown thanks to his win in the first race, while Spaniard Albert Costa sealed the FR 2.0 title on home soil in front of an 80,000-strong crowd.
