Michelin followed up pole position at Monza with a podium finish in the race! After claiming Michelin’s third straight pole position in the CIV, Fabrizio LAI (N°32 Ducati) went on to claim third place in Italy. The Althea Racing by Echo rider also finished third in the first race of the season, at Mugello, and has now familiarised himself sufficiently with the French brand’s tyres to be able to use them to his advantage. He is likely to be one of the front-runners when the series returns to Mugello on June 23-24.
